DOMO invites all mosaic artists to participate in its mosaic exhibition ”Connexion”.
The exhibition will open its doors at Maikammer (Rhineland Palatinate) on 8 October 2010. Participants are kindly requested to register until 31 March 2010 and send photos of their work until 31 July 2010.

Exhibition Guidelines

1. All mosaic techniques and materials are allowed, emphasizing the artistic expression of the work which has to be produced in an impeccable manner. Regretfully, we cannot accept „Terrazo“, inlaid works and/or machine-made pieces.
2. It is inadmissible filling big parts of the work ( e.g. background ) with sand or mortar or by painting. The artistic expression has to be achieved by means of mosaic work. However, it is allowed to leave the bearing material of sculptures uncovered.
3. Mosaic pictures and/or sculptures can be submitted.
4. Pieces already exhibited in previous DOMO visions, as well as replicas of historical mosaics and/or copies of works of famous artists will not be accepted.
5. Max. 3 works in compliance with the guidelines can be submitted.
6. Closing date for entries is Wednesday, 31st March, 2010 (completed entry form)!
